Starting in Lerwick, which developed from the 1600's with the rise of the fishing industry and eventually took over capital status in 1708 from the ancient capital, Scalloway. We pass the Town Hall, sea front and Clickimin Broch (2000 years old) .
Travelling on to Scalloway we see the ancient capital and its famous castle which was built around 1600 by Earl Patrick Stewart. Next view the beauty of the Tingwall valley, learn of the Norse heritage and see Shetland's largest tree plantation at Kergord.
